February is here and it seems like Spring is right on its heals! Days are getting longer, the sun is shining more often and even the flowers and trees are beginning to bud. After the usual January resolutions, February is a great month to think about self-care and so for the next 3 months, I will be writing a 3-part piece on how to incorporate it into your life so it can become second-nature. Self-care is considered part of the preventative medicine continuum and is essential for maintaining optimal health, not to mention a much happier and fulfilled life!
This month we will look at defining self-care, looking at the importance of self-awareness, and giving you some tools to begin the process.
