These 2 healthy juice recipes are amongst my favourite combination. The Blood Juice is packed with vitamin and mineral combinations  which will help you feel energised. The addition of beetroot makes this juice a great blood tonic which has also been proven to lower blood pressure. The Green Cleanse Juice has ingredients which support detoxification. Both are delicious!

 

 

BLOOD JUICE
  • 5-6 medium organic carrots
  • 1 medium organic beetroot
  • 1 organic lemon or grapefruit, peeled except for a small quarter of peel
  • 1 piece of ginger or fresh turmeric about the size of thumb nail (optional)
  • 1/2 apple (optional)
  • 2 sticks of celery or 1/3 of a fennel bulb (optional)

Use a juicer to juice all ingredients together, stir and enjoy!

 

GREEN CLEANSE JUICE
  • A bunch of organic kale leaves and stems
  • A bunch of organic coriander
  • ½ organic fennel bulb (small)
  • 3-4 celery sticks
  • ½ cucumber
  • 2-3 organic Granny Smith apples or similarly hard juicing apples
  • 1 large organic lemon
  • a 2-cm slice of black radish (if you are daring!)

Use a juicer to juice all ingredients together, stir and enjoy!
